Age 44

What made you come to PJG?

I saw the sign outside the studio shortly after moving into the village, and had been looking for a way to improve my fitness, with some level of accountability. Having someone local, who could structure the activities / workouts based on what I wanted to achieve was what I was after.

How long have you been training with PJG?

Just over 4 years now.

What’s been the biggest impact on your life whilst training with PJG?

Early on my journey with PJ I had a major medical setback which came out of nowhere, and at the time made my consider a lot of things. Paul was a massive help with helping to get me back on track, after that, providing a more holistic view of fitness and wellbeing. For me, that overarching view of what fitness, health and wellbeing is for me as an individual, and helping me achieve it has been the biggest impact.

What’s your favourite PJG work out?

Any and all of the workouts are good fun, although two days after a leg workout, I’m not sure the word “fun” is how I’m describing it!

Describe PJG in 3 words?

Individual, challenging, fun

What’s your favourite thing about PJG?

No two days or workouts are ever the same. Even after 4 years, Paul still manages to find new ways to inflict pain, sorry I mean, challenge me, and it’s always done with a smile whilst having fun.

Why would you recommend coaching with PJG?

Paul gets to know you as an individual; your routines, your work considerations, your family and home life and everything else that makes us who we are, then combines all that with what you want to achieve, and what he thinks you can achieve, providing you with not only challenges, but also the support that allows you to achieve all of that.

What I have achieved with Paul is far in excess of what I could do with just a gym membership, and also having seen what more traditional PTs offer, I don’t believe there are many who provide such consideration of you as a whole person, when planning for you.
